Dale's long history in the automotive industry began in 1974 when, at the age of 12, he started washing cars at his dad's used car lot in Welland, Ont. Dale's father always said he had little cars running through his veins. Since then, Dale has accumulated extensive experience in automotive sales and management, almost entirely with General Motors, and in 2002 he launched Dale Wurfel Pontiac Buick GMC. He keeps his finger on the industry's pulse by serving on GM's executive marketing committee for Ontario.
Dale recently been appointed an Executive with General Motors National Information and Technology Board. Dale also volunteers his time as the President of Strathroy's community owned Jr.B Rockets Hockey Club.
Dale plays an active role in the local community, and the dealership regularly supports charity drives, minor league hockey, conservation projects and church events. Recently, the dealership donated $25,000 to Strathroy General Hospital.
Dale's love of cars has passed down to his four children, all of whom work at the dealership, and his wife, Cindy, helps out in reception. Even Montana, his dog, does his part as the dealership's mascot.
In his off hours, Dale enjoys playing hockey, cooking, hanging out with his family and entertaining friends.
